September was a busy month in the library with school beginning and several of our classes engaged in research.

     Click on Staff at the left to see the names of those who are now volunteering in the library.  These folks check in and out books.  They also do many other tasks.  They process books to get them ready for you to check out.  They help children take tests over books they have read.  They shelve books and keep them in order.  That's a job! And they do this week in and week out as regularly as if they were paid!

     Thank you so much for the many birthday and memorial books you have given recently.  Unfortunately, there is a backlog on getting these into the Newscaster, but I am sure they will all be listed soon.  They are, however, listed here on our website.  Just do an advanced search in Circulation.  Type in the name of the donor or the one being honored or memorialized and click search.  All those books will come up!  Thanks to Donnetta Byrd for making all that happen!  She is phenomenal!  If you ever need help setting up or "doctoring" your computer she is the one to call at 379-4752!

     If you have a toddler at home you should know that we now have a brochure that lists our toddler books.  One part shows our board books.  Do drop by and pick up that list.
