Julie Griffith Joins Library Staff

   We are so fortunate that one of our FBCA parents and also the teacher of our computer classes in the school, Julie Griffith, has agreed to work on Friday mornings as a volunteer in the library.  She will be working with Joyce Hamilton who is the volunteer clerk for that morning.  She is indeed an answer to prayer!

Gifts from the School and PTO

    This past month we received the money to purchase a light projector for the library from the school board.  This works in conjunction with a donated laptop from Judy Bobbitt to make it possible to do computer powerpoint presentations in the library classes.  Teachers may also have students to develop powerpoint projects and show them in the library.  Kay Rhodes will be using it for a women's program in a couple of weeks.

     In addition the PTO has given the library money to upgrade four donated computers which the children use.  They needed lots of work and  Donnetta Byrd was able to do that once we bought the equipment.  We truly appreciate all she does for the library!  And we definitely appreciate the PTO gift which made it all possible.
